As someone who is considered more of a recreational runner, I must admit my trip to Fleet Feet Mahwah was the most enjoyable experience I’ve had at a NJ running store.

Basically when I go out shopping, for whatever it may be, I have only a few prerequisites at the store I shop. I don’t like being harassed asking if I “need help.” If I need help, I’ll let you know. When I do have a question, I like when the person is friendly and insightful. I’ve had it happen so many times where when I begin walking to someone inside Sports Authority to ask a question, they feel you coming, turn their back and walk away. That doesn’t happen at Fleet Feet Mahwah.

I visited this NJ running store looking for something to help with my shin splints. For anyone who’s ever run, you know just how painful these can be. Well after doing a search on Google for “New Jersey Running Shoes,” I came across the website for Fleet Feet Mahwah. It seemed like a solid option amongst the other NJ running stores listed and was conveniently located. I gave it a shot.

The service was exceptional and the people working were very friendly. They said hello when I entered and even though there were only a few other shoppers, let me do my browsing. When it was my time to ask the question, all my answers were given. They were so helpful in finding me a product to help with my shin splints! The product is called Super Feet and it’s essentially a more sturdy sole that you substitute with the existing one in your running shoe. While testing it out and walking around the store, the stability increase was like night and day.

It helps tremendously that the people who operate the store are runners themselves. They run marathons and such, which is a distance I can barely drive lol, but they understood my need and solved my problem. They were courteous and insightful. You’d be hard-pressed to find better NJ running stores to visit for all your running needs, no matter what level you’re at.
