MEET OUR TEAm!

Joe Glotzbier
Joe is the owner of Fleet Feet Mahwah, and he opened the store in 2002 as a result of his long-time dream to own and operate his own business, and his passion for the sport of running. Along with operating the business full-time, he is also the director of our No Boundaries training program, in which he helps beginning runners adopt a healthy lifestyle by training them to run a 5K. In addition to his extensive knowledge about footwear and training, Joe is also well-known for his great taste in tunes, which can be heard bopping up the shop at all times. He has completed 15 marathons including the Boston and New York City marathons, several half marathons and continues to train daily, despite his gimpy knees.

Jill Glotzbier
Jill is also an owner of Fleet Feet Mahwah and holds a vast amount of information regarding running and fitness equipment. She greatly contributes to the business by purchasing and merchandising the women’s apparel, and by designing the store windows to model the products and create an inviting atmosphere. She's run the 2009 & 2010 More Half Marathons, the 2009 Philadelphia half marathon and is a pace group leader for our "No Boundaries" program. She also enjoys leading the Wednesday Morning Fun Runs, which meet at the store and are open to anybody who wishes to participate.

Jackie Glotzbier

Jackie is the daughter of Joe and Jill, and she is also an employee at Fleet Feet Mahwah. She is one the group leaders for the No Boundaries 5K Training Program on Saturday mornings, and she looks forward to assisting with the Running 101 10k Training Program in the near future. Jackie has completed three marathons, 6 half marathons, and along with her training, she enjoyed running cross-country and track and field for Mahwah HS. She's a multiple winner of the Jane Ketchin Bryl Memorial Scholarship from Fleet Feet Inc. She's a student at Fordham University and will be helping out at Fleet Feet  when she's home from school.

Stephanie Lasner
Stephanie is an avid runner and part-time employee of Fleet Feet. She's a graduate of Ramapo College and made her Boston marathon debut in 2010 after qualifying in the fall of 2009. While she was in college, she ran cross country, as well as winter and spring track. When not running, or working at Fleet Feet, Stephanie is a full time nursing student, and enjoys music. She has a cheerful personality, likes to work with people, and will be helping out at the store when she's home from school.

Larry Glotzbier
Larry, Joe’s younger brother, has stepped in from time to time by helping us out at Fleet Feet since we opened in 2002. He brings quite a bit of running experience with him as he is a veteran marathoner having who's competed in and finished 33 races. He’s run the Boston Marathon six times, NYC Marathon eleven times and has countless 5K’s, 10K’s and half marathons in his past as well. He was a pace group leader in our Galloway Marathon Program since it’s start in 2002. Aside from running, he’s an avid fly fisherman and skier.

Matt Hanley
Matt is a part-time employee of Fleet Feet. He brings a wealth of running experience to our staff, as he is a veteran runner who consistently races in distances from 800m to the marathon. He has also completed several triathlons, including a half-Ironman. He is currently training to qualify for the Boston Marathon. When not at Fleet Feet, Matt is a student at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York, and hopes to become a top chef. Look out Bobby Flay!
