This event will benefit both MRCC and the New York/New Jersey Trail Conference. The Trail Conference is responsible for the restoration of the Darlington Schoolhouse (built in 1891) as well as the maintenance of 2,125 miles of public trails in nearly 100 parks and 22 counties throughout the metropolitan area.
Course Description: Starting at the newly restored Darlington Schoolhouse, this relatively flat 3.1 mile USATF certified course, features highlights that include the scenic Ramapo Reservation and River, the beautiful Hunt & Polo Club neighborhood, and Ramapo College's historic Havemeyer house. The majority of the course follows wide-woods roads and maintained grass and dirt trails. The last mile is on paved roads, leading back to the finish line at the Darlington Schoolhouse, where food, and awards ceremony, and Schoolhouse tours await!
Participants will park in the Ramapo College parking lot-Lot D
