Spring Half and Full Marathon Program
It’s time to shake off the winter blues with our Spring Distance Training program! Whether this is your first time attempting a half or full marathon, or you’re a veteran of long distance running, Fleet Feet is ready to help you cross the finish line! This 13-week training program is designed to help you confidently reach your long-distance goals!
This program is timed to culminate at the North Olympic Discovery Half and Full Marathon! Race registration is not included in this program.

Program Details
* Meet Coach Gabriel!
* Program Dates: March 3rd - June 2nd, 2024
* Professionally designed 13-week training program excellent for both first-timers or experienced runners
* 2 additional “pre-season” weeks designed to help you begin developing your aerobic base
* Half marathon program is for runners who are currently comfortable running 4 miles, Full marathon program for runners who are comfortable running 7 miles
* Two weekly group practices on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm and Sunday mornings at 8:00 am
* Wednesday workouts will alternate weekly between Ballard High School and Garfield High School. Occasionally there will be workouts scheduled at the Greenlake Track. Workouts include hill repeats, track workouts, tempo runs, and more!
* Sunday long runs will move around town to mix up our routes. The furthest North that we will run is Ballard and the furthest South that we will run is Seward Park. You will receive a full calendar with meetup locations at the start of the program!
* There will be 2-3 destination long runs that will take us out of the city. Past locations have included Kirkland, Issaquah, and Redmond.
* A comprehensive weekly email with group announcements, workout and route details, training tips, and weekly motivation will be sent out Sunday night for the following week.
